The office of Robert W. Hunt, sales manager, opened off the left of the Weyerhaeuser Building’s lobby.

Hunt had access to his sales department from his office, which consisted of F. A. Bronson, traffic manager; A. R. Adams, price man; C. B. Shary, cargo department; and Miss McCarrell, Miss Loken and Miss Smith, stenographers.

Hunt’s office was designed like all of the private offices in the building, with the exception of William H. Boner’s office. As Boner was manager of the Everett mills, his room was beautifully finished and furnished.

The walls were finished in fir and stained a driftwood gray. The floors are of hemlock and were adorned by blue or taupe rugs. The rugs complemented the walnut furniture with blue leather upholstering.

When the building opened in 1923, the other private offices were occupied by Edward B. Wight, assistant manager; James N. Clapp, purchasing agent and Frank M. Martin, office manager.

It’s likely that whenever Weyerhaeuser Timber Company founder Frederick E. Weyerhaeuser visited Everett, this is where he set up shop.
